COVID-19 Testing
At-home testing kits and rapid tests are available from many local pharmacies and health care organizations. In addition, CMU will continue to offer testing services for students, faculty and staff on campus.
Individuals with COVID-19 symptoms must call to make an appointment:
- Students: Call Student Health Services at 989-774-6599, option #1.
- Faculty/staff: Call CMU Primary Specialty Clinic at 989-774-7585, option #1.
Quest Laboratories, located on the second floor of Foust Hall, room 204, is still offering PCR testing Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- No appointment is necessary; however, we encourage individuals to first call 989-774-6599, option 1, to determine if the test is appropriate or necessary.
- Please note: Quest Laboratories will not complete a PCR test for individuals who are already COVID-19 positive.
If you traveled over the break, CMU recommends getting tested before returning to campus. Find and schedule your test on the Michigan.gov COVID-19 testing site or schedule an on-campus test using the numbers listed above.
Visit the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for information on what to do if you test positive for COVID-19. If you have other questions, please contact your health care provider or call CMU Health at 989-774-6599.
