Student Health Services
If you are in need of health care while you are away from home, CMU Student Health Services is here to care for you. Our on-campus clinics are staffed with board-certified health care professionals who can provide the treatment you need. Our staff can also work hand-in-hand with your family doctor or specialist to manage ongoing treatments and services while you are attending CMU.

Immunizations
Vaccine-preventable diseases continue to occur on American college campuses. Central Michigan University follows the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices' age-appropriate recommendations in advising CMU students regarding protecting themselves and the University community from serious communicable disease outbreaks.
Immunization Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Allergy injections
Many Central Michigan University students who receive injections from an allergist at home choose to continue their allergy injection program at the CMU Health - Student Health Services in Foust Hall.

Allergy review visit
In order to receive allergy injections at CMU Health - Student Health Services, patients must first schedule an appointment for an allergy (antigen) review. The allergy review allows the medical staff to understand a patient's history and any related health concerns (e.g., asthma), and to review specific antigen immunotherapy programs.

Laboratory
The on-site Quest Laboratory provides convenient access to laboratory services, providing quick results for better diagnosis and treatment.
The lab is certified by the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA) and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA).
Hours: Monday – Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (closed from 12-1 p.m. for lunch)
Outside laboratory orders
Simply bring the order to the Quest Lab located in Foust 204. Quest will ensure that results are faxed to the ordering physician.
