Biography
Dr. Saleem is an academic hospitalist at CMU Health. He earned his medical degree from Osmania University Hyderabad, India in 1979. He then worked in the medical ICU at Jeddah Medical Center in Saudi Arabia. Then he worked for multiple years in the emergency room of King Khaled National Guard Hospital in Jeddah, Saudia Arabia. After these experiences, he began his residency in 1995 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Saleem was able to further refine his expertise in the field as he worked as a hospitalist and in private practice for more than 20 years, often rounding and mentoring with internal medicine residents and medical students. His primary interest lies in clinical medicine.
